My background is interdisciplinary — I started in visual arts and music, got my Master's in Interdisciplinary Design, and that's really where I shifted from pure aesthetics into systems thinking, research, and strategy. That foundation is still very much how I approach product work today.
In my early career I worked across branding and agency environments — healthcare nonprofits, startups, and then as a designer on the eBay account at an agency — where I built my instinct for designing within established systems and moving fast in cross-functional teams.
The last few years I was at Block — Square's parent company — I was embedded on a web and product team where marketing and product experience were deeply connected. In practice, that meant all designers bridging web surfaces with in-product journeys, working directly with PMs and engineers on acquisition, onboarding, and global launches.
Outside of work, I play violin and volunteer with the Strings Attached Orchestra, I volunteer with the RGD on the D&I committee to give back to the design community that gives to me, and I am presently enjoying a combination of hot yoga and Muay Thai for some activity.
